In te online tool I often find myself tabbing through and completing the fields in a dialog and then pressing enter: nothing happens.

It would be very nice if when focus is on an input text field of a dialog and one presses enter it closes the dialog.

There might be specific reasons not to do this that i'm not aware of.

In that case nvm.

I think this is a great idea! It will save us one mouse click, which takes much longer time than hitting return. I'm tied up with work this week, but will look at it next week, along with some other improvements.

Another suggestion:

It would be awesome if i could use the tool on my ipad.

If the hover effect to select and show the dialog button would be a "click"

and the pinning "double click" i think it would do the trick and i would be a happy camper;)

Upon closer inspection there is alot more to be fiddled with to make it usable

In a browser on touchscreen devices. So never mind , i'd rather have the ability to declare a metadata model , allthough this isn't as simple as it looks i'm guessing ( especially taking into account that ideally this is an anchor model as well.)

I really liked the iPad idea too, but once I saw the poor performance I realized that there's no hurry in adapting the interface for touch screens. In order to get good performance in the current iPads I think it would have to be made as a native application.

I agree, i can work on an ipad version when i find some time. It shouldn't be that much work although i'm not an Objective-C specialist.(But it would be nice to chill and do some designing without having to sit in front of a pc/mac ;P)

I have the anchormodeling tool running locally and i'm looking to see what i can change in SQLServer.xls to get seperate metadata tables.(As talked about in previous posts.) Now ofcourse i need to know if this xls sheet is generated itself by a back-end. But i suspect it is not.

Maybe you have some suggestions, i could send you the updated sources.

I really like this modeling technique, it's clean and to the point.(Though i still have to check if i can reverse the views with Spring ROO;))

edit: I have added the "enter" functionality (close ContextMenu on pressing enter when an input field is in focus.)

If you want i send you the modified js code (it's just some lines.)

I will modify more to my needs (as in a seperate metadata table).

Still figuring out what would be the best way to go about this.
